Parentcraft
Preparing for the birth of your baby is an exhilarating time. Our experienced 3fivetwo midwifery team offer guidance and support helping you and your partner acquire the skills and confidence to make a positive birth experience.
3fivetwo parentcraft classes have been developed to offer expectant parents a relaxed and informal way of gathering the much needed relevant and objective information surrounding the topics of labour and birth and post natal care.
We welcome expectant mothers from 28 weeks gestation, their partners and birth partners. You will have the opportunity to interact with other expectant mothers, learn about the early days of parenthood and seek answers to the many questions that all new parents have.
The topics covered are:
- Aiding you in the preparation for your labour and birth of your baby.
- Types of delivery available
- Information about pain relief
- Feeding and caring for your new baby
- Exploring the early days with your new baby
- Relaxation and massage for mothers to be
- Baby massage
- Emotions surrounding pregnancy, birth and the early postnatal period.
